Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
Account data: name, email address, and — if you sign in with a supported identity provider (Google, or a workspace identity service) — the basic profile the provider shares. Customer Content: the contract documents you upload and the data derived from them (detected dates, extracted terms, drafts, signature records). Billing data: plan, credit and payment records; card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us. Usage data: product events and page analytics (see Cookies below), plus standard server logs.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide the Service: storing and displaying your documents, running the date-detection and term-extraction you request, scheduling renewal warnings, processing payments, providing support, and securing the platform. Automated (AI) analysis of your documents runs on infrastructure we operate; your documents are not sent to third-party AI providers and are not used to train models for other customers. We do not sell your personal information or your documents.
3. Tenant isolation
Your workspace's data is isolated from other customers' workspaces and access is enforced server-side on every request. Packtly staff access customer workspaces only for support and operations, and such access is audited.
4. Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to run the Service: Stripe (payments), email delivery infrastructure (notifications), and hosting infrastructure we operate. When you send a document for signature, the document and signing request are shared with the recipients you designate. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
The app uses strictly-necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and security (CSRF). Our marketing pages use Tracium, a privacy-conscious first-party-style analytics service operated within our own ecosystem, to measure page performance. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the Service.
6. Retention and deletion
Customer Content is retained while your workspace is active. When a workspace closes, content is deleted after a reasonable export window. You can delete individual documents at any time; residual copies may persist briefly in backups before aging out. Billing records are retained as required for tax and accounting.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), access is role-based and tenant-scoped, and production systems are isolated behind our gateway. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal information — most of this is self-service in the app; for anything else, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on your jurisdiction you may have additional statutory rights (e.g., under state privacy laws), which we honor where they apply.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
